Midweek Premier League Summary – In Rap Form

For a bit of bant, we thought we’d summarise this week’s midweek goalfest with a rap. We won’t be performing it, it will be strictly lyrical so please feel free to rap along with the link provided for a seriously top CHOON. Make sure you press play before you read this!

Yo, yo, yo, this week was all about Luis Suarez,

With every shot he seems to hit the target,

40 yard volley combined with a free kick,

against Norwich he never plays shit,

Phil Bardsley with a pretty shocking OG,

But Chelsea’s defence continues to look ropey,

Hazard though, was a man on fire,

2 goals and an assist we admired,

Man Utd however, lose again at home,

Martinez has made the Toffees his own,

Oviedo has now scored 2 in 2,

What is it that David Moyes can do?

City picked up a win at the Hawthorns,

Some sumptuous goals left us wanting more,

Spurs came from behind to complete the win,

Chriches and Holtby scoring in the top bin,

Here the chorus would usually kick in

Goals were aplenty, even at the Liberty,

Swans sink Magpies with another OG,

Bore draw, bare snores at tedious old Stoke,

Cardiff dug deep, but could definitely cope,

Arsenal win again it’s becoming a trend,

Will they win the league well that depends,

Transfer window approaching they may need to spend,

Otherwise their title chances could come to an end,

The Saints fine form seemed to hold up,

Delph and Gabby getting their goals up,

Classic counter is what beat Southampton,

With 77% possession you’d think they’d of had them,

And we can’t forget the forgettable on Tuesday,

Selhurst Park was about to get boozy,

A win and clean sheet against London rivals,

Gives them chance to claiming survival.
